Allie Canavan is an educator and certified scientific illustrator in Seattle, WA. She feels equally at home in the worlds of art, science, and social justice. To her, this little Venn Diagram represents essential tenets of accessible science communication, celebrating diverse ways of learning, knowing, and being.

Allie a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators NW. She attended the University of Washington, receiving her BA in Anthropology in 2013 and her certificate in Natural Science Illustration in 2019.
